Rescue Diver

The Rescue Diver course will expand your knowledge of prevention and skills to handle these situations. The fun is included! The scenarios are entertaining and provide practical examples. We include the CPR course that is required for this certification.

This course takes at least 3 to 4 days. Let us know your travel dates   so we can arrange your accommodations for you if you don’t already have them.

Course Scenarios

The main skills you’ll learn include:

• • Self-rescue during a dive (cramps, out-of-air scenario, tangles, etc.)
  • Recognize and manage stress in other divers.
  • Emergency equipment and management.
  • Rescuing others on the surface (panicked divers, tired divers, etc.)
  • Rescuing unresponsive divers on the surface and underwater
  • Underwater navigation techniques for finding a lost diver
  • Completion of 2 rescue scenarios.
