Through our work-exchange program, certified divers gain hands-on professional diving skills while assisting with reef conservation and community projects. Live, train, and dive alongside expert instructors, contribute to protecting the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, and become part of a program that combines career development with meaningful environmental impact.

Divemaster Internship & BICA Volunteer Program

Become a certified Divemaster through an exclusive alliance between Moana Divers, BICA (Bay Islands Conservation Association), and PADI. This one-of-a-kind program blends professional dive training with hands-on conservation work. You’ll graduate with a globally recognized certification and the experience to lead responsibly.

Divemaster Scholarship & How to Apply

Live steps from the ocean, dive daily, maintain gear, attend workshops, and enjoy life with a team passionate about the environment. Every dive you guide, species you monitor, and reef cleanup you support contributes to building a generation of purpose-driven dive professionals. Limited scholarships are available each semester. Apply by sending your dive resume, a short motivation letter (English or Spanish), and availability. Selected applicants will have a short video call to confirm fit.
