Why Roatan
After traveling and diving in different places, we found our paradise in Roatán. Four years ago, we opened Moana Divers, right on the beach at Half Moon Bay. We focus on safety, small groups, and personalized service, offering unforgettable experiences—from fun dives and night dives to shark adventures and macro photography, always with top-quality gear and a relaxed, professional vibe.
The name Moana
The name “Moana” comes from our roots in Rapa Nui, where “Vai Moana” means “Deep Blue.” For us, it’s more than a name—it’s a way to share our culture, respect for nature, and a deeper connection to the ocean.
