Day 1–2 – Arrival
We’ll meet in Hurghada, Egypt, where you’ll board our liveaboard vessel and meet the crew and fellow divers. After a safety briefing and equipment setup, we’ll share a welcome dinner and set sail into the Red Sea under the stars.
Day 3–4 – North Reefs & Wrecks
Our first dives begin at the iconic northern sites like Sha’ab El Erg, Abu Nuhas, and the legendary Thistlegorm wreck. Explore coral gardens, WWII shipwrecks, and keep an eye out for dolphins and turtles.
Day 5–6 – Ras Mohammed
We sail further south toward Ras Mohammed National Park and the Brothers Islands—known for their dramatic drop-offs, schools of barracuda, and potential hammerhead sightings. These days offer both adventure and tranquility in pristine waters.
Day 7–8 – Southern Highlights
Depending on conditions, we visit Elphinstone Reef or Daedalus Reef—deep walls, strong currents, and encounters with oceanic whitetip sharks await. This is where the Red Sea truly reveals its wild side.
Day 9–10 – Return & Cultural Touchpoint
After our final morning dives, we cruise back to port and spend time onshore. Enjoy a relaxed cultural experience in Hurghada or a farewell dinner together before flying home.
Expedition Details
This expedition includes 20 guided dives across top Red Sea sites, a 10-day journey aboard a premium liveaboard, all meals, dive briefings, tanks, and weights. You’ll also take part in environmental awareness workshops led by the Moana team.
